I'm still thinking this must all be a dream... or perhaps SkyBlade celebrates 'April Fools' in July ?

Seriously, I understand it's technically looked at as piracy and legally against the law and all that, but really... I doubt any of us has any intent on making money out of this or do anything malicious, or even have the time to play 0.000000001 % of the games from this Redump set. Most will probably play the digital gog/steam versions of them anyway. In other words, the purpose of this project is to archive and preserve history -- if anything, it's an homage to the creativity of the developers by making sure their art is not lost or forgotten. So really... what's the harm?

Right. I'm not advocating for pirating gog/steam or other digital games. I was talking specifically about projects like Redump where the original media (discs/floppies/cartridges/tapes/etc) is used mainly as a collectible for archival/nostalgic/research purposes, rather than for playing.

Anyhow, if SkyBlade doesn't want to, it's all good. Perhaps some other time.

Back in the old days (i.e old ROMShepherd forums), you can see there were already Redump discs being posted for download for many years, both for IBM - PC & other platforms. Sometimes even by Redump's own contributors like Askavenger, Balthier, etc. So I doubt Redump expressed concern with what Skyblade was doing.

My guess is that he simply got tired and feels burnt out (which is perfectly understandable, of course) after fulfilling one wall-of-text request after another, day after day, then realized it's not possible for this to be a one-man job...

Yeah, just getting links from GD is a PITA. You can sort just by name and not by date, so good luck finding the new uploaded ones between 1000 of games (unless you make alphabet folders). And so slow to actually get a link.
For me up to 10-20 per day is doable, but you requested even 50 every day.

You will never match it. It looks like a bad iso or different pressing. Its missing the audio tracks of course but also its mode1 and not mode2, so converting it will not match.

GOD has shut down because they were doxxed by IGG-Games not because they got a Cease and Desist order or anything like that. Emuparadise and TheIsoZone were both hosting console games and they stopped after Nintendo has cracked down on LoveROMs. This forum actually focuses solely on PC games specifically due to those circumstances.

Well, did check the iso with isobuster. Seems like it's a game-rip converted to iso.
