I try to open the game, but it gives me a error message telling me that "i can't open the app "SlimeRancher" because it may be damaged or incomplete"

To fix the error message, right click on the app and choose 'Show Package Contents". Navigate to Contents > MacOS, and rename the file inside by adding a single space between Slime and Rancher
So rename it from "SlimeRancher" to "Slime Rancher" without the quotes.
Now you should be able to double click the app icon as usual to launch the game.
