gog rip dont work

Hi,

i create repacks from GOG releases in which I extract the language files and only extract the actual game once.
I use innoexctract for this.

So you don't need an entire installer for every language.

With some games this works without problems (Sudden Strike 2), with others not (Beyond Divinity, Alien Nations).

The error message is then

Code: Select all

Unable ro read configurations files -  Exiting

(Beyond Divinity) or

Code: Select all

Couldn´t open initialization file

(Alien Nations).

However, if I then run the original setup (different installation directory), my rip also works.

I deleted everything from the registry, game started anyway. If I uninstall the original GOG, it won't work again.

Maybe you know why?
Which file is not found there?
