About:
  • Please note that Order of Battle: World War II includes Order of Battle: U.S. Pacific DLC.
Order of Battle: World War II
A breath of fresh air for all strategy fans. It is a game that takes wargaming to a new level by upgrading
every single game element and rebooting the genre for a new generation of players. Detailed terrain, rich
animations and a slick interface, all within a traditional setting and with the elements that are familiar
to experienced players - Order of Battle: World War II follows in the footsteps of all time classics, such
as Panzer General
.

With a selection of over 700 unique looking and behaving units, players can build and manage their army,
fleet and air force throughout the campaigns set in the various theatres of operations during WW2. A
unique system of specializations allows players to customize their forces with special units, bonuses and
abilities that reflect the difference in strategies and mentality of the various factions.

A set of unique Commanders – split between Generals, Pilots and Captains – is gradually unlocked in the
campaigns. These can be attached to specific units to provide unique bonuses to anything in their
command range. While good use of unit types and tactics remains the player's priority, clever use of
Commanders can tip the balance in an offensive operation or buy just enough time in defense to turn the
tide to your favor.

In Order of Battle: World War II, a unique supply system also plays a key factor that directly affects the
combat efficiency of the units
. Landing on an enemy island without any support ships will prevent the
invasion forces from building a solid beachhead, and breaking the supply lines of your opponent, isolating
his units and making encirclement maneuvers are the strategies required to achieve an ultimate victory.

● Classic turn based, hex based gameplay with an intuitive UI and great depth.
● Play in dynamic campaigns with unit carryover and multiple "what-if" scenarios.
A rich 3D world with detailed animations and effects. Turn-based wargaming has never looked this
good!
● 20 different Specializations give a unique feel to each faction including Banzai Charge, Bushido Code
and even the Manhattan Project.
● Over 700 different unit types, including infantry, tanks, ships and aircraft, each with unique visuals and
animations
● Attach unique commanders to your units to give them additional offensive and defensive bonuses
● A deep but intuitive supply system allowing breakthroughs & encirclements.
● 4 player multiplayer over PBEM++ and hotseat, supporting last-man-standing, teamplay and cooperative
against AI scenarios.
● An extensive, user-friendly in-game scenario editor with a what-you-see-is-what-you-get design.

Order of Battle U.S. Pacific
December 7, 1941 – the surprise attack on Pearl Harbor left America shocked and the US Navy stunned.
Glorious battleships such as USS Arizona were sunk or put out of action for. This infamous raid gave
Japan a serious advantage right from the start, but they have sorely underestimated the American
determination to overcome this setback and fight back the aggression. Four long years of war now lay
ahead to determine the outcome of this epic struggle...

As the commanding officer of the US Pacific forces, the player is tasked to put a halt to the Japanese
aggression and restore American supremacy in this part of the globe
. From the early blow at Pearl Harbor
to the final battles in the Japanese archipelago, recruiting new units, giving the right orders and
organizing an effective supply chain are essential on the path to ultimate victory. New technologies and
equipment will gradually become available, allowing players to modernize their army, fleet and airforce
throughout the campaign.

In Order of Battle: U.S. Pacific you take control over the American army and fleet in some of the most
iconic land and naval battles of the Pacific Theatre of WW2.

● Pearl Harbor
● War Plan Orange-3
● Bataan
● Marshalls-Gilberts Raid

About: In summer 1937, renewed tensions between Japan and China escalate into open war: The Second
Sino-Japanese war has begun.

Order of Battle: WWII comes back to the Pacific Theatre, covering one of the cruellest but most
underrated conflicts of the Second World War period. In Order of Battle: Morning Sun you take control
over the Japanese forces fighting for territorial expansion and rich Chinese resources. The conflict soon
turns into a massive all-out war between the two sides during the Battle of Shanghai. While the Chinese
forces are numerically superior, they have suffered from internal conflict and are poorly equipped with
outdated weapons. The recently modernised Japanese Army on the other hand is well trained and
experienced, but as the war drags on it gets increasingly overstretched, allowing the enemy to regain the
initiative at several occasions...

New units
Japanese armies have been reinforced with several new units including biplane fighters and bombers such
as the Ki-10, D1A and A4N1, the Sōkō Sagyō Ki flamethrower-equipped engineering vehicle and Type 89
medium tanks. The Chinese rely heavily on foreign arms deals, resulting in a diverse arsenal made up from
Soviet Polikarpov fighters, Tupolev bombers and T-26 tanks, German Panzer I's, Sdkfz 221/222 armoured
cars and 37mm PaK guns, Italian L3/33 tankettes, British Gloster Gladiators and many more. Nations now
also have access to Cavalry units and Horse Transportation for towed guns. In total, almost 100 new unit
types have been added to the game.

As part of this expeditionary force, the US Marine Corps is tasked with assaulting the islands of Tulagi
and Guadalcanal. A long and bloody campaign of island hopping in the Pacific Ocean has begun... Order
of Battle: U.S. Marines

the Allied victory over Japan. This new expansion follows the story of the U.S. Marine Corps during the
island hopping campaign of 1942-1945. As the fighting progresses across small, isolated jungle islands,

► Rising Sun DLC

Released: June 14, 2016
Size: 5 MB
Store page: https://www.gog.com/game/order_of_battle_rising_sun

About: The ultimate goal of Imperial Japan is to become the dominant power in the western Pacific. In
December 1941, a carefully planned strategy is set in motion through a series of major offensives,
including a carrier strike on the US naval base at Pearl Harbor. The shock of these surprise attacks is
intended to cripple the Allied forces, giving the Japanese army and navy the time needed to establish
total hegemony over their opponents.

Rising Sun puts the player in command of the Imperial Navy - built around a powerful fleet of battleships
and aircraft carriers, as well as the Imperial Army - hardened from years of war with the Chinese.
Managing the limited resources available to build a well-balanced force of unique units such as the lethal
A6M Zero fighter aircraft and the mighty Yamato battleship class will be the key to a successful outcome
of the Japanese offensive. From the beginning of the campaign, starting with the air raid against Pearl
Harbor, the initiative lays in the hands of Japan, but as Allied resistance stiffens, only a commander able
to achieve decisive victories can keep up the momentum and fulfill Japan's imperial dreams.

Including key historical battles, the "what-if" invasion of Australia and many unique Japanese weapon
designs and prototypes, Rising Sun offers a unique experience set in the Pacific Theatre of WW2.

► Blitzkrieg DLC

Released: November 10, 2016
Size: 5 MB
Store page: https://www.gog.com/game/order_of_battle_blitzkrieg

About: On 1 September 1939, under the pretext of reclaiming the city of Danzig, German armed forces
invade Poland. Honoring their diplomatic treaties and driven by the desire to maintain the balance of
power in Europe, France and Great Britain swiftly declare war on Germany. This chain of events sets in
motion the greatest war the world has ever seen: a Second World War.

In the early years of the conflict, Germany display a successful incorporation of modern aircraft and tank
technology into its traditional tactic of Bewegungskrieg. These tactics rely on deep penetrations by
armoured forces, supported by aggressive air attacks and prove to be highly effective at encircling and
finally destroying the enemy. Resulting in lightning fast victories, the new form of warfare is referred to
as the Blitzkrieg.

Set in this new theater of war, the new expansion for Order of Battle - WW2 puts the player in charge of
the German Wehrmacht and Luftwaffe. Starting with the conquest of Poland, the campaign features the
defeat of the Franco-British alliance on the western front, the invasion of the Soviet Union and finally the
assault on Moscow in 1941.

New Units and Nations!

Released: November 30, 2017
Size: 10 MB
Store page: https://www.gog.com/game/order_of_battle_panzerkrieg

About:
After two years of lighting victories all across northern Europe, the German army has suffered its first
major setback in the war. The great offensive to the east - the invasion of the Soviet Union - has
stalled right in front of the gates of Moscow.

Following the relentless defense of their capital city, the Soviets have launched several major counter-
attacks during the harsh winter of 1941. German forces are forced to retreat and regroup, but must
maintain their position in reach of Moscow. Once the Soviet attacks have been broken and the
strength of the Panzer Divisions is replenished the offensive will resume - until total victory has been
achieved.

Panzerkrieg, the new expansion for Order of Battle - WW2 forms the second part of the German
Grand Campaign, following the previously released Blitzkrieg DLC. Players can start the Panzerkrieg
campaign from scratch, or import their core force from the end of the Blitzkrieg campaign - including
all the previously unlocked commanders and specializations. The campaign focuses exclusively on the
Eastern Front, including iconic battles such as the Siege of Sevastopol, the devastating urban warfare
at Stalingrad and the epic clash of armour at the battle of Kursk.

Features

unannounced final chapter in the German European campaign. Core force importing has been
improved and expanded to include previously unlocked commanders and specializations.

    longer provide any movement bonuses.

  • Demyansk
  • Kharkov
  • Sevastopol
  • Voronezh
  • Kalach
  • Caucasus
  • Stalingrad

North Africa between 1941 and 1943.

Lead the Italo-German forces across a hostile desert front. Use your precious tanks to unleash a
mighty blitzkrieg on the Allied forces. Overcome difficulties such as sandstorms and scarcity of
supplies and vanquish your enemies with firepower and superior speed. The road to the Suez canal

► Endsieg DLC
Image

Released: November 13, 2018
Size: 10 MB
Store page: https://www.gog.com/game/order_of_battle_endsieg

About:
Victory or Death - what shall it be?

The final chapter of the "krieg" trilogy is here: after four years of campaigning the battle-tested
Wehrmacht will have to face its hardest challenges in Order of Battle: Endsieg.

The Endsieg campaign, the biggest and longest yet, includes 16 unique scenarios. The story begins
right after the Battle of Kursk, where the game provides the option to import a core force from either
the Panzerkrieg or Sandstorm campaign.

The first five scenarios are based on the historical 1st Soviet offensive in the Donbass in summer
1943, up to the Leningrad–Novgorod strategic offensive in early 1944. A decisive defeat of the Red
Army will eventually allow total victory over the Soviet Union, while failure to do so will turn the
campaign away from the Eastern Front and into the Battle of Anzio in Italy.

In the second part of the campaign the player's forces are transferred to the west, where the Allied
invasion of Normandy has opened a new front. Initially you'll be forced on the defensive, and you'll be
tasked to extract other German forces from the Falaise trap, defeat Allied airborne units in Market-
Garden, and defend the city of Aachen and the Huertgenwald against heavy attacks. By reaching a
decisive victory in the German Ardennes Offensive in December 1944 the tide of the war can finally
be turned again, leading to a set of ultimate battles to destroy the Allied armies once and for all.

Covering the final years of the war, Endsieg offers powerful weapons such as Tiger II heavy tanks,
Jagdpanther tank destroyers and Me-262 jetfighters as well as several new specializations. But
beware, the enemy has brought many deadly new weapons of their own!

Are you ready to change history?

Features

• 16 scenarios - one of the biggest DLC campaigns yet - covering the aftermath of the battle of Kursk
in 1943 until German counter-offensive in the Ardennes in 1944, allowing the player to defeat the
Western Allies in battles around Antwerp and Calais.

• Over 60 unit types reinforce the ground and air forces of Germany, Great Britain and the Soviet
Union. Players now have access to late war equipment such as the Tiger II heavy tank, the Sturmtiger
with its bunker-busting 380mm rocket launcher, Me 262 jet fighters and the heaviest tank ever built:
the PzKw VIII Maus.

• 6 specializations for Germany, including the Panzerlehr - providing an elite Panzer unit, the
Entwicklung Series for production of the E-100 super heavy tank, Vampir Nachtjeager for increased
tank combat efficiency and the Uranproject: Germany's endeavour to create the atomic bomb.

Hummm strange they don't have the same checksums than the GG "version" (which is the same as in the Connie's DAT files).
It's a "new" version like GOG does sometimes ?
