looking forward to trying the new version of this game. This is the only game that i ever purchased multiple times, but i always end up using the "shared" gog version

purchased on steam, android, and switch.

Sounds like in 1.6, there's so many new things its better to start a new game

i typically carried my save files over from each device.

One of the main features of this patch is to be more mod-friendly. I'm looking forward to Stardew Valley Expanded. Gosh that mod is HUGE. Guess it'll be a while.

There's been a few bugfix patches already. Is the game stable enough to play now? Any major bugs left?

From my own experience, it's been stable enough since update 1.6.1 (I think most major bugs got fixed in it). Played around a few hours with it, and never got a crash at all. Then on 1.6.2, mostly a few graphical glitches and insights got fixed, so by this last update, I'd say it's safe.

1.6 adds so much for us to play with, also newest patch is very stable haven’t seen any bugs or graphic glitches with it so it’s safe to start playing on for sure.
